Are the NBA Playoffs...truly different? Statistically different than the regular season, or are we simply fooling ourselves?

Undoubtedly, the playoffs FEEL different, but often times our intuition can fool us.

We decided to test out several playoff differences, including defense, officiating, score differential, shooting...and much more.

On a personal note, this year is especially fun given the significant parity we see in the league (at least in the west). It really feels like there are 67 teams who could win it all, just out of the west...looking forward to some fun series.
