Follow
PennEngineering®

PEM® CastSert™ threaded inserts for soft metals and diecast alloys are now available in standard thread sizes ranging from #256 to ¼20 and M2.5 to M6 in two lengths per thread size. The simple pressin and rapid installation process for these inserts uses a flat punch and anvil to install all sizes and lengths, approximately 80% faster than other methods.

Benefits include:

• Designed for installation flush with flat punch and anvil into blind holes or thruholes
• Process cost savings vs. coil inserts or thread tapping
• Installed into drilled holes or ascast holes with low draft angle
• Pilot for rapid seating and selfalignment
• Symmetric for autofeed capability
