The #KIPP #range includes a wide selection of different indexing plungers. They are characterised by different #actuation methods such as pulling, pressing, remote operation or even #pneumatic. This depends on the model. These different actuation methods enable the integration of KIPP indexing plungers into a wide variety of #applications. The actuation methods available are:

▶ Standard indexing plungers K0338
These indexing plungers are operated in the #classic way. The #pin retracts when the operator pulls the knob. When the knob is released, the pin advances again and locks the application.

▶ Indexing plungers with cam lever K1584
These indexing plungers have a #cam lever on #top. With this, the pin can be quickly and easily retracted or advanced using just one #finger. When the cam lever is moved past the dead centre, it stays there and the pin remains retracted. When the cam lever is moved back, the pin advances and the indexing plunger is locked.

▶ Indexing plunger with remote actuation K1502
Indexing plungers with #remote actuation are used on #machines that cannot be operated directly at the location. A #Bowden cable is located between the #grip and the pin. The #wire cable enables operation from a safe #distance, for example outside the #danger zone of #rotating parts or #assembly cages.

▶ Pneumatic indexing plungers K1116
#Pneumatic type indexing plungers are suitable for the inclusion in #automated #production plants. When compressed air is applied, the pin advances and locks the application. When the air supply is interrupted, an #integrated #spring retracts the pin and releases the lock.
