The first verse to which Bible skeptics in general and KJV naysayers in particular run in their diatribes against the preservation of an infallible, inerrant text of Scripture is I John 5:7. The accusation is that the verse is "obviously a much later addition to the text, probably not before the fifteenth or sixteenth century."
