"Come To The Table"

Our faith invites us to gather regularly in order to learn and grow together. That’s what being a church community is all about. There are many ways this takes shape through worship, fellowship, and service. On this Communion Sunday, we’ll consider the story from the book of Acts of Cornelius, a Roman centurion, and the Disciple/Apostle Peter who both crossed their cultural boundaries to meet and discover their commonality. How might God be drawing us together in new ways? How might God be inviting us to reach out to others in new ways?

On this communion Sunday Shannon Miller, Erin Alford, Jake Asaro and Michael Rice will sing In This Moment of Remembrance by Dale Wood, a lovely piece that celebrates the coming together of God’s people at the table. And our Chancel Choir with soloist Jake Asaro will sing Hall Johnson’s spiritual Ain’t Got Time to Die, reminding us to praise Jesus in all that we do. Join us as we celebrate the sacrament together.
