In part 5 of dinghy cruising down the SaintLawrence from Montreal to Quebec City, I take refuge in the Deschaillons marina to avoid a heavy rain storm. I make it down the Richelieu rapids, the most treacherous part of the Saint Lawrence, avoiding ships and dealing with heavy currents, making it to Portneuf marina for dinner and a comfortable sleep tied to a dock.
