The purpose of this video was to test out a tool recommended to us by this nice guy Dario who commented on our Part 1 video for this job. The tool featured is to help with getting the brake shoes into position on the backing plate and held in position with the holddown spring assembly. You will see for yourself that this very affordable tool works great for the reassembly of the parking brake on your Toyota or Lexus SUV or Truck.

You will still want to watch Part 1 for the disassembly of the disk brake and parking brake assemblies and for the reassembly of the disk brake assembly after the parking brake is properly put back together on the backing plate.
