I mistakenly called this RV a Bounder . It is a Pace Arrow Vision . The owner came to the beach and just before he got to the RV park is lights started to go dim . He shut the RV off . When he attempted to start it he had no dash lights and nothing inside the RV would work . I got a test light and discovered a dead short in the main hot battery lead that feeds power to a group of solenoids inside a metal box under the hood . The Hot wire coming off the battery had worn through a plastic bushing fortunately for the RV owner the bushing had enough plastic in it that as it melted it surrounded the hot post to the solenoids and stopped the bolt from grounding out to the metal box . If this hadn't happened he would have had a fire that probably would have destroyed his Motor Home . If you or a friend has an older Pace Arrow please have someone Check the hot wires going into the metal box . I am sure their are many of these RV's running around with this design flaw .
