Today I share my journey troubleshooting the OBD II error code P2459 on my 2021 RAM 3500 with the HO Cummins 6.7 diesel. Error code P2459 is a diesel particulate regeneration frequency error. Basically the code means the regeneration process hasn't been completed within the desired frequency, over a set amount of time (or number of miles).

I think I solved it though, so I'll share what I believe is the culprit and how I was able to fix it.
