In this video, I will talk about code p2048 testing and replacing Cummins 6.7 def injector. I received the "Service DEF System See Dealer" message on my instrument cluster. I was annoyed, but continued about my day of driving. Then, I received the DREADED "Reduced to 5MPH in 150 miles See Dealer" message, that got my attention REAL QUICK! Upon further research, code p2048 was stored. This points to an issue with the DEF injector circuit. I will go through the DEF injector tests and show how replacing the DEF injector can solve your issue.
