How to do a restoration on oxidized gelcoat with 3M perfect it compound and wax. This Boston Whaler Dauntless 18 had some moderate oxidation on the hull. I go through the steps on restoring a boat gelcoat by wet sanding with ScotchBrite Gray Pad 37448, following up with the Scotch Brite White Pad 7445 and then compounding and waxing with the 3M perfectIt products.
