Saltspring is our favourite gulf island in British Columbia. We love it because of its unique bohemian culture, backyard to table cuisine, and local wines. Summer time offers a quick 1.5h ferry from Tsawwassen ferry terminal. We recommend taking a car with you to do the picnic loop: a day at the market, Saltspring island cheese, farm stands and wineries!
