After you have discarded files of no value (dead files) and stored files you are keeping just in case more remotely (sleeping files), it's time to organize the files you need to be able to FIND reliably. These are the sitting files. Here is why I recommend organizing them by category and how to sort them with a singular focus and a fast speed. With these safely stored in a userfriendly filing system in a nearby filing cabinet, you can now focus on the files that you need to make a point of acting on.
