⚠ This video is not intended to be a tutorial.

⚠This recipe is shared only for experienced soapmakers. This recipe/video does not replace due diligence in learning and knowing how to properly handle lye and make handcrafted cold process soap. Follow all safety precautions.

⚠ Missouri River Soap is not responsible for any outcome that results from prepping, making, and/or testing this recipe. Follow all safety precautions and heed all warnings for the production and use of cold process soap.

⚠ A lye solution must only be made in a lye safe container. In this video, I used stainless steel frothing pitchers originally purchased from webstaurantstore.com. Lye and/or cold process soap should never come in contact with aluminum. Do not mix a lye solution in glass.

Spray completed soap with 99% isopropyl alcohol to help prevent soda ash.

Our soaps go through a complete gel. Large batches will naturally gel especially in a wooden mold.

Cold process soap must saponify and harden before unmolding and cutting. Sea Salt Soaps need to be cut sooner, often while still warm. Cold Process Soap must cure for 48 weeks before using.
