In this video, from the driving instructor from one of the Texas DPS (TDLR) approved online six hour drivers ed courses for adults (ages 18 to 24 and over), you will learn the correct ways to maximize your visibility from your auto's side and rear view mirrors. He explains situations as to why you need to look over your shoulder, especially in situations where there is a motorcycle or bicycle in close proximity to your car quite likely in the traditional "blind spot".


He also discusses the Blind Zone Glare Elimination Method. It is done to reduce the square footage (and risks) of your blind spot especially on the passenger side rear view mirror.



Drivers Education of America (DEA) offers the required 6 hour drivers ed course for those in Texas, ages 1824, which is required by DPS before you can schedule your actual driving exam at your local DPS office in order to earn your drivers license.

The State of Texas (DPS) requires a 6hour course to be taken as the written part of your drivers license exam. You will need an official certificate to bring with you to DPS when you go for the official driving portion of your exam with the examiner.

The State of Texas permits the course to be taken online as long as you take the course from a Texas Department of License and Regulation (TDLR)approved company like ours. Upon completion, you will receive in the mail a valid certificate that the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Drivers License Office will accept as proof that you have passed the Texas Adult Driver Education 6Hour instruction course.
