what makes you think i'm so special?


Most of the ocean clips are from Children of the Sea, a film so beautiful that I wondered if it was possible to combine it with One Piece in this way (no offense to the OP anime lol). The movie also has a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, so I had to crop and zoom the OP clips to fit with that. I tried to keep some of it uncropped though by duplicating and mirroring clips to elongate them. And for some scenes, like Sanji's All Bluesmile, I simply masked out the character and replaced the background. Most of the closeups were impossible to mask though, as they would have to be redrawn beyond the frame. But I kinda like the extreme closeup shots for an emotional video like this.

Oh and there's so much I wanna say about my thought process while making this, but I struggle with words so that will probably take a while to write (lmao this is why I make edits). So, enjoy the crispy 4k snonji and loofi
