Here we go with part 3 of the Omaha steak series. Today we try out individual scallop potatoes on the Yoder YS640 pellet cooker. I found it kind of odd that there’re a product of France.

The cook is simple. These were cooked in a fully frozen state. I preheated the Yoder YS640 to 400. The directions stated to cook at 425. I had my 2piece door in so you can only go up to 400. All I did to compensate for this cook them a little longer and shift my baffle to the far right side of the cooker. That will be an episode for another day. Those of you that have a Yoder YS640 know what in talking about.

For full disclosure, I’ve had these before out of the oven and liked them. What will I think of the smoked version?
