Old-style Japanese food stalls are very popular with female customers.

This time we asked to photograph Onitaro, a longestablished yatai located on Watanabedori.
It is one of the most popular stalls where you can enjoy cheap and easy street food, and although the proprietors are stronglooking, they are extremely friendly and one of the stalls we recommend.
Some of the customers have been coming here for 25 years, and both regulars and tourists alike enjoyed the food, drink, and atmosphere at the stall.
The food is all reasonably priced, and there is a wide variety of food available, ranging from hormonebased dishes to grilled dishes and ramen noodles.
The ramen soup that is made from home is also popular, and many people ordered it that day.
It seems that yatai stalls in Fukuoka have recently become popular among young people from outside of the prefecture, and perhaps it was just a coincidence that most of the customers were young women on that day.
