11152020: It was another Spontaneous trip! I had to work about 60 miles north from where I live, and my client just happened to live about 25 miles away from Gorman / Hungry Valley SVRA! **This means that this turns out to be the 4th installment of my vehicle comparisons between Offroad oriented crossovers and dedicated body on frame SUV's/Trucks. This time around we have a total of 9 vehicles and the AWDs are out numbered 7 to 2. We have my 2019 Honda Passport AWD, a 3rd gen Volkswagen Touareg V6 AWD Turbo diesel, a 90's Chevy Suburban 4WD, 3rd gen Pathfinder 4WD, a 2nd gen Honda Passport 4WD (aka Isuzu Rodeo), a Lexus GX 470 full time 4WD, a Toyota Sequoia 4WD, a Jeep Wrangler 2.0 Turbo 4WD and a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. What a line up!
In this episode we spend time at the 4x4 Practice area and some of the brave few drive "UP" the black diamond Pronghorn trail!
