Do you have a Straumann® torque control device and a ratchet? In this video, we will show you how to use them.

The Straumann torque wrench is a precision instrument that is comprised of three separate components. These are:

• Ratchet body
• Ratchet bolt
• Torque control device

The correct assembly will lead to the smooth and proper functioning of the torque wrench during procedures.

To assemble your Straumann torque wrench, follow these steps. First, insert the ratchet into the torque control device. Note that the round head of the ratchet is to be inserted into the flared end of the torque control device.

Next, insert the bolt into the other end of the torque control device and tighten it by turning the small wheel clockwise. The service instrument can be utilized to ensure a tight fit.

Finally, ensure that the directional arrow on the end of the bolt is facing toward the teardrop on the torque control device.
