This is just 1 part in our Belgian Shepherd training strategy. We have been training our Pastor Belga or Belgian Sheepdog for several months now. By far the most important thing to me is a reliable recall. So once or twice a week on his morning walk, we encourage him with treats. Sometimes without, but then he gets easily distracted. I have noticed over time how much more engaged in us he is. He is making great progress.

Our boy "Jack Flash" is a Belgian sheepdog or Groenendael. He is one of the 4 varieties of Belgian shepherds, The 4 varieties are the very popular Belgian Malinois, Tervuren, Groenendael and Laekenois. Athletically they are all similar, but vary in temperment and drive, and also between working and show lines.

This channel is solely for the purpose of trying to raise money for my dogs Cryptorchidism (his testicles did not drop) so he needs a procedure to have his testicles removed internally which is quite expensive here. Apparently they can become cancerous if not removed.
