Welcome to New York in the autumn! The leaves are falling, the air is crisp, and pumpkins adorn the porches of these classic NYC brownstones. Enjoy these cozy autumn nature sounds paired with quiet residential street noise as you stroll beneath the trees with a coffee, elated that fall has once again arrived and painted the city in the most splendid shades of crimson and gold. I gave this scene a bit of an 80s look with the cab because it's always fun to take a little trip back in time!

I really wanted to make this New York fall ambience last year but ran out of time, so I was delighted to get working on it this year! I've always loved the looks of the classic brownstone homes in the autumn and wanted to bring that to life in an ambience. Because this scene didn't leave much to be animated, I decided to have the cab drive up in the intro, and I think it turned out really well. I don't often do 3D animation (it takes so long: This short little cab movement took 2 whole days to render!), but this was super fun to do.

I hope you enjoy this first autumn ambience of the year, and I shall return with many more cozy fall escapes very soon.
