The SMART Switch allows you to use virtually any kind of switch to activate your turnout one push button, two, a toggle switch, etc. And the Smart Switch will activate virtually any kind of turnout machine whether it is a coil system or motorized.

The Smart switch can also receive DCC commands if you want to run switches and DCC in parallel. And the smart switch has a digital signal output so that you can activate any one of our Signal Controllers, including Dwarf Signals or a relay if you like.

The Smart Switch combined with our Precision Sensors and relays will allow you to create some basic automated train action like turning switches and starting and stopping the trains.

The Smart Switch runs on 12VDC which more than adequate to turn most turnout machines. Switch from an AC to DC based turnout control is easy and we have the power supply for that if you need.
