This video is a us leaving Lawrenceburg, TN and heading to the Meriwether Campground located in Hohenwald, TN. Also, in this video is Bear Creek Mound, an old Native American site located along the route.

We took the Natchez Trace Parkway, (part of the national parks services) from Hohenwald, Tennessee all the way down to Natchez, Mississippi. If you take the Parkway end to end, it starts in Nashville, Tennessee & ends in Natchez Mississippi. It is a 10hour drive and is 50 miles per hour except 35 around nashville where its very curvy, no commercial vehicles allowed & No red lights. It's a beautiful drive through mostly Mississippi.

There are 3 free dispersed camping campgrounds on the Parkway & we stayed at all three. The 1st is Meriweather Lewis campground and in this video. There's also the Jeff Busby Campground which is a little over 3 & 1/2 hours further down past Tupelo. we stayed there the next night. Then the last free campground on the Parkway at 2 & 1/2 hours past Tupelo.
