The girls; Tilly, Joey and Cutie Pie have some fun in the morning with the flirt pole. Joey leads the team. Kitty Rose is inspired and tries her skills with the TV cable.

We head off on a family bush walk before breakfast. Elle spots a couple of beautiful Lorikeets in the trees, a Kookaburra too.

In the playground we all have a wonderful play together. Luke makes an important call to a potential adopter for Diesel. It’s exciting because it could be the perfect job for this sweet working boy. We can only pray.

Meanwhile, Aunty Sam dishes out treats. For nothing. … Barney puts himself in between Mum and Cruiser. He’s not yet at the stage of trusting that guy. He sees a couple of tricks he’s pulling that he himself employs.

Luke talks about what happened. He also talks about the relationship between Abra and Barney. Which leads him to the training he has been doing behind the scenes for Abra … and Barney too. Personally, I’m beside myself excited for Barney. I think this is the serious call up he’s been waiting his whole entire life/career to hear.

At pool time, a special someone barks at the gate. It’s Nala! Her mum is going to help us out a bit in the coming weeks and Nala is stoked, she knows what that means … Freddy the Goldie has already told her … it’s cool when your mum works at the farm because it means you get to come to the farm all those days.

The dock diving is epic. Ziggy brings his A game and the farm diving pack meet his enthusiasm. Tank, Chopper, Rosco and Rover fly through the air Into tomorrow, my heart is full seeing them truly living their bestest lives. Not one of them enjoyed swimming when they arrived here at the farm.

Joey got her practice in the morning with the flirt pole, so I’m guessing it was what inspired her to dive off today several times for the lure too. Way to go Joey.

Miss Violet, as always, is right in the thick of it. Four giant big boys swimming competitively for the lure does not even make her hesitate from getting in there and trying to get it herself. She does not see herself as any different. And she isn’t. Her heart is as big as the other lions. You’re amazing Miss Violet.

This is just a very small part of our day. There’s formal training in the morning, integrated distraction training throughout the day and now we have bite work training too. The dogs days are full of fun and adventure. It’s no wonder they sleep so peacefully in the afternoon and evening. I love to watch them at night, it’s as if they’re smiling in their sleep.
