Myra is looking tired, but the puppies are doing really well. Myra has a lot more awareness when she is doing things around them. They are getting big, fast! Each nightly weighin has shown great improvements. They started out a little sluggish but they are showing us strong they truly are. As we begin to move past the most critical stages and step back to more of a monitoring position, we are looking ahead to Reservation Day and prospective families.

We don't raise the puppies and then hand them off to families. We bring the families to their puppies, via livestream, weekly facetime sessions and familyscented clothing items, so families are front and center to their puppies' growth and care. Their puppy gets to know them the entire time they are staying with us in our home, all in preparation for pickup day! That's one reason why Reservation Day is such a big day for us, because we get to know our puppies' families really well over the coming weeks.

Myra is one of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She delivered 5 healthy puppies between 6:46pm and 12:52am March 28th. They remain in our bedroom for constant supervision. Their pool is near the foot of our bed so that Mama can come and go as she pleases. Everything she needs is readily available to her, and we find that giving her breaks (such as up in our bed for belly rubs) helps delay the burnout she may begin to experience in a couple weeks.

Welcome to the Red Barn Cavaliers family home! This stream is in our bedroom, where our most recent litter of puppies was delivered on March 28th. We live stream them every day, providing all of their care on stream for their families to see and keep up with their puppy's progress. We raise Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with an emphasis on their emotionalsocial development. We raise all of our puppies for the distinct purpose of becoming Emotional Support Animals. This breed of dog has a temperament ripe for therapeutic bonding, and their ability to tune into their handler's emotional needs can't compare to any other breed. We nurture those characteristics to optimize them further, starting before their eyes open.

We potty train our puppies using pine pellets designed for rehydration, beginning between 57 days old. Our puppies typically understand where to go potty within about a week of practice, and they soon learn to use the tray all on their own. By about 67 weeks, they begin waking during the night to use the tray.

Our young puppies are kept in our master bedroom for 24hour observation and care. We leave the audio on so that viewers are able to hear puppy noises, but that means you may overhear some personal interactions.
