Here at Kitten School, we go through a lot of toys, so the cats and kittens here sort of consider themselves to be "toy experts". When the innovative cat toymakers KLJ reached out and asked if our kitties would review some of their latest and greatest automated toys, we put our paws right up and said "Uh, yeah!"

In this first review, the kittens take KLJ's Smart Balance rolling toy for a spin...and this adorable little lightflashing, feathertopped creature was an allaround hit. They chased, pounced, and danced with it until they were totally worn out. I can't think of any better compliment for a cat toy than that!

My adult cats were very interested in watching the toy, but they didn't interact with it quite as much as the kittens did. Snowy gave it a couple of turns around the room, but the kittens were so hyped up they sort of knocked her out of the way. Maybe if there weren't so many excited kittens bouncing around wanting to chase the toy my older cats would have engaged more.
