My house does NOT have dampers!
We have made several videos about how to find and adjust the dampers in your ductwork. However, what if your home has no dampers? Is it possible that your home has no dampers at all and if so, is it possible to install dampers in existing ductwork?
Today James with One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning in Olathe, KS answers a subscriber question about dampers. He recommends you first make sure your home will benefit from dampers. However, if your home is built with ductwork that would work for dampers, you will notice an immediate difference in the comfort of your home when you can better control the air flow to different levels of your house.
It is possible to install dampers in existing ductwork. The easiest time to install dampers is when the HVAC system is being installed or replaced.
