Cost to install hvac system with ductwork: $3500. Cost of Labor? Nothing but time... In my system, the flow dynamics were off so I had to install a damper to even out the airflow. It is not a very difficult process, so I wanted to share. I had estimates of over $9000 for someone to install my system. It cost me $1000 for the ductwork material and $2500 for the system otherwise. It was another $300 to charge the system (which I'm not licensed to do). Always seek the help of a professional (which is also what I did. I contacted an HVAC contractor of over 30 years to teach me how to attach everything).
