Hey everyone, thank you for watching this video. Please be kind and considerate, emetophobia is a REAL fear and it's absolutely debilitating, it's not stupid or made up, it can completely cripple the sufferer, so please try to have empathy and be understanding. Emetophobia is something that has hugely impacted me and controlled so much of my life, it's an absolutely terrifying and exhausting phobia to live with and as I explained, it links into my anxiety and panic attacks, therefore it's always a vicious circle. I know that so many people struggle with emetophobia, and that's why I wanted to make this video all about my experience with it as my first instalment of Mental Health Monday, because I want to help you to feel like you're not alone and that I seriously understand what you're going through. And I hope that my advice / summary at the end helped you also, I know that it's not going to pay off overnight but if you keep reminding yourself of all the little positive affirmations I threw in there, over time it might start to help you because I know it did for me. At least I hope it does for you too. I am so glad and so happy that I've overcome a lot of my emetophobia or at least the anxiety that was fuelling it has gone. It makes life so much easier and I felt like I was in a good place mentally to finally film this video.
