The Surly Disc Trucker is one of the more popular touring bikes on the road today. I purchased a new Disc Trucker in 2023. I modified and upgraded some of the parts to suit my needs and tested it out under a variety of conditions. I took it fully loaded on paved and gravel roads, railtrails and canal towpaths. I'm not a professional bike mechanic, just a seasoned longdistance bike tourist that knows what he likes. And this is my brutally honest review of the bike.
