Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Karaikal Weekly Express is an express train of the Indian Railways connecting Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Maharashtra and Karaikal of Union Territory of Puducherry, near Tamilnadu. It is currently being operated with 11017/11018 train numbers on a weekly basis.
The 11017/Mumbai LTT–Karaikal Weekly Express has an average speed of 53 km/h and covers 1628 km in 30 hrs 40 mins. 11018/Karaikal–Mumbai LTT Weekly Express has an average speed of 48 km/h and covers 1628 km in 33 hrs 45 mins. This train was initially planned to operate between Mumbai LTT to Velankanni due to huge demand from devotees but later destination changed to Karaikal.
Both trains are hauled by a Kalyan Loco Shedbased WAP7 Mumbai LTT to Karaikal.
The train shares its rake with 11011/12 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Hazur Sahib Nanded Express.

Karaikal railway station (station code: KIK) is an NSG–5 category Indian railway station in Tiruchirappalli railway division of Southern Railway zone. It is a railway terminus, situated in the town of Karaikal in the Union Territory of Puducherry, India. The station is 145 kilometres (90 mi) east of Tiruchirappalli and 300 kilometres (190 mi) from Chennai and connects Karaikal to various parts of the country.
The railway station is located on Railway station road off the East Coast Road (ECR) and the Karaikal Bypass Road. The Karaikal Bus Station is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) away. The nearest airport is Tiruchirappalli International Airport, situated at about 130 kilometres (81 mi) away from the station. Karaikal Port is located 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from Karaikal railway station.
Currently the station is the terminal point on the Tiruchirapalli–Karaikal branch line and has three platforms. Until 1987 there was a 23 km metregauge branch line westwards, connecting Karaikal with Peralam, which was later dismantled. Since then there have been persistent demands from various quarters for the revival of this line. In June 2019 tenders were floated for the restoration of this route, expecting to complete the project by March 2024.

Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (also known by its former name Kurla Terminus, station code: LTT) is a railhead and a major railway terminus in the Kurla suburb of Mumbai, India. LTT is managed by the Central Railway. The Kurla and Tilak Nagar suburban railway stations are located nearby. It is one of the five railway terminals within Mumbai, the others being Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Dadar on the Central line, and Mumbai Central and Bandra Terminus on the Western line.
LTT is located in the middle of two suburban railway stations, Tilak Nagar and Kurla, on the Harbour line. It is easily accessible through Tilak Nagar as a direct overhead bridge is made to LTT from Tilak Nagar. A share rickshaw service is available from Kurla to LTT via level crossing. The average opening of the level crossing gate is 20 minutes.
