In 1750 a dockyard worker dropped one of his belongings in the Thames mud. He was about to pick it up when someone called him over. By the time he went back to pick it up, the tide was coming in and it was lost in the Thames mud where it stayed for almost 300 years. And then I found it! My favourite finds are those with names on and during this outing I was not disappointed. Come with me to see who I met on this mudlarking excursion along the River Thames in London.
