Location: Wildcat Group Campground in Mt. Diablo State Park, Walnut Creek, CA
The hike is pretty easy. Make sure you follow the trail and head downhill until you get to the small paved road to see more poppies. Best time to go is early April. Late April has lots of tall grass which covers many poppies.
