Here's my ULTIMATE list of most useful watercolor colors. It's taken me 40+ years to come up with that list too!

When you first start painting you are faced with a huge array of colors, brands and jargon. It is often incredibly difficult to know where to start. Which colors should you prioritise buying, and which ones will you use the most. I really don't think I could have put this list together 40 years ago. It has taken me a long time to work out which are my goto colors, but now I wouldn't be without them. They are very frequently listed for most paintings I do, and they run out quickly too! So I definitely know that I use them.
