In this video I take you on a ride along with the latest upgrades on the Changli Monster Mod truck. I added a Kelly KLS7250N speed controller and added an extra battery under the hood to make 72V from the factory 60V. Coupled with the Motenergy brushless ME1719 motor it really woke this vehicle up. It has way more torque now and gets up to speed a lot quicker compared to the smaller Kelly controller which was part of my first round of upgrades.

This thing is a raging bull in first gear. Second gear is too tall and it's not really made to shift into while driving. You kinda have to decide which gear you want to be in before you start rolling unfortunately. It clunks pretty bad if you try to use it like a manual transmission and shift from a roll.

If I could start over I would rebuild the suspension from scratch and go with a tougher axle in the rear. Seats are also terible. If you don't love the body of this thing you would be better off electrifying a dead side by side.
