DnAs Birding Adventures

@dnasbirdingadventures heads to the Monte Vista #colorado for some excellent #birding opportunities at Smith Reservoir, Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge, and Russell Lakes State Wildlife Area. The San Luis Valley, just over the Sangre De Cristo Mountains from Westcliffe (our last video). We’re checking out another new reservoir for us, Smith Reservoir, for some new migrating birds and some to add to our 2024 yearly list! We stayed at the Movie Manor and watch the new Ghostbuster movie! The Sandhill Cranes have migrated north, but other migrating birds are arriving. This is video 2 is in #montevistabirding . Of course, there are other great birding areas in the San Luis Valley. I’ll put back up our first video from The Great Sand Dunes National Park, Zapata Falls, and Antero Reservoir. It also includes the Sandhill Cranes in March! It’s a vertical video…lol. Still learning on how to produce videos.

Our first few days and video were in Westcliffe, Colorado where we checked out the Wet Mountains, the incredible Bishop Castle, and hiked in the Sangre De Cristos for some #birdwatching We found a great reservoir, DeWeese Reservoir, too. Plus…THE MOUNTAIN VIEWS WERE SPECTACULAR #hiking #naturephotography #photography #birds #coloradohiking #dnasbirdingadventures #coloradobirding #coloradophotography
