In Episode 2 Mez talks about J Coles "Middle Child" video being the first video he ever officially directed. Mez gives us details not only of the process but also what it was like on set, including how last minute he and the crew removed the tints on J Cole's Bentley truck with razor blades, blow dryer and ammonia with out telling Cole because that's what Mez needed for the shot. Although Mez didn't know all the film terminology he was able to communicate his vision and taste to the crew.
