Black Thought talks childhood growing up in Philadelphia, what he learned from first jobs and breaks down his musical DNA including Rakim, Chuck D, LL, Big Daddy Kane, KRS and N.W.A. As the interview continues, Thought says that he wanted to be a visual artists before being a rapper and that his Mother's passing fueled him to dedicate full time to being an artists.
