Melbourne World’s Most Liveable City
After being nominated as the world’s most liveable city for the fourth year in a row, I thought what better subject to showcase in my new timelapse short film than Melbourne itself.
For the past five months I have been exploring the city once a week (when the weather was cooperating) to capture all these scenes. I wanted to present the parts of Melbourne that stood out to me and bring life to the images using timelapse photography.
Well over 20,000 images were shot. Many hours walking throughout the city carrying heavy camera equipment, and countless hours in editing time (thrashing my 13inch Macbook pro to its limits), were spent just to make this project come together. I have never worked so hard on a project & I’m extremely proud of what I have made. I really do hope you enjoy the video.
A special shoutout goes to Matt from Photosentinel for the support and the use of an Emotimo TB3.

Also thanks to Eureka Skydeck for the passes to shoot some shots above Melbourne! The view from up there was truly amazing!
