At least six people were killed & 9 people were sent to hospital with injuries after a stabbing attack at a shopping mall in Sydney, Australia, on Saturday.

Police shot the male suspect after he went on a mass stabbing rampage armed with a knife at a shopping mall in Bondi Junction, Sydney.

I thought after Australia banned all semiauto guns after the Mass Shooting they had in 1996, things like this wouldn't happen.

Yeah, I know this wasn't a mass shooting, but he killed people in mass, so does it really make a difference what he used?
