2023 Maserati Grecale Modena Quick Take first look and test drive. I also drove it back to back with the new Stelvio and they are completely different SUV even though they share the same Giorgio platform. The Grecale excels in style, fit and finish, interior design and materials and much needed tech in todays highline segment. The Maserati Grecale rides smoother and softer and does not have direct steering and the handling like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The Grecale to me feels identical to a Mercedes Benz GLE 53 AMG in terms of ride, steering and handling. The Tech is nice but not up to a Mercedes MBUX type system. The Stelvio just handles and drives so much sportier. Both amazing Italian SUV's for entirely different buyers. Price wise the Grecale Modena is identical to a Stelvio QV which is why I show the comparison here. Let us know in the comments below which one you would choose and why.
