Not just a marble battle, but the entire war.

Armies travel randomly across the map, engaging in combat if they meet. Once conquered, towns will produce more fighters for the player. Whenever the army goes to the home city or a friendly town, it will reinforce itself with fighters.

Fighters gain experience by scoring kills. If a fighter gains enough experience it will level up, gaining perks like additional hit points, speed and/or equipment.

Destroy all the enemy kings and armies to win!

Changes in this version:
New unit: Monk converts enemies when hitting them with a book if their health is low enough.
New unit: Kingsguard spawns with the king and protects him with a halberd. Attempts to stay close to the king.
Damage and armour rebalancing.
All kings now get upgrades periodically. The set of upgrades for this event is different to the upgrades received from bandits.
New upgrades: mage spawner, monk spawner, knight spawner, kings crusade (causes the king to leave the castle).
Shields can now be damaged and destroyed by hammers and axes.
Mage push ability removed.
Berserker now has an ability (unlocked at later levels) that makes it spin very fast for a short duration. Starts with smaller axes.
Weapons now deal additional damage based on speed, so at level 1 fighters won't always 1hit kill enemies.
