Maple Pecan Danish (Delicious Recipe)

Maple Pecan Danish

we use store bought Puff Pastry Dough (Great value is our Favorite)

Filling;
3/4 cup Sugar
2 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
1 tbsp Maple Extract
1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup Water
1 Tbsp Salted Butter

Water Mixture;
1 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Water
1/2 tsp Vanilla

3/4 cup Chopped Pecans

Instructions;
If you're using store bought pastry take out 1 hour before starting, (to thaw)
In a small pot mix sugar and cornstarch. add in all wet ingredients and bring to boil, boil for 1 minute. take off heat and let cool to room temperature. transfer to a piping bag or sandwich bag.
On a floured surface slightly roll out the pastry, Cut into 4 squares. cut into each sides about 3/4 inch. Put filling into center and fold over in a braid like manner folding in the ends.
Transfer into parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
Prepare the water mixture and microwave until sugar dissolved. Brush Danishes with water mixture and top with pecans.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375℉ for 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool in cookies sheet for 20 minutes before serving.
makes 8 Danishes!
