These adorable photos capture the touching friendship between a man and a vixen and her five cubs which keep playing in his garden.

Simon Everett, 48, says the invasion of the friendly creatures has cheered him up during the pandemic, having become fed up of being stuck at home.

Now the animals visit Simon's garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, every day and he leaves them food to enjoy.

The sales manager said: "They visit me every single day, during the daytime, but mostly in the evening. I’d lie on my bed and have the bedroom window wide open which didn’t seem to bother them.
