Namaste, We are Shirish and Pooja
and Welcome to a Malvani Fish Thali Special Episode of ‪@RedSoilStories‬
Pooja has gone to market to get some groceries and I was working in the farm. Pooja came into the farm while returning to the home and told me that she got "Saundale fish" ( White fish ) for today's lunch. I mischievously asked her to prepare a "fish thali" just like a malvani restaurant. I think she took it as a challenge and started preparing for the same.
She cleaned the fish, fed some of it to Raja who then slept like a kid for the entire morning.
Pooja first prepared dry baby shrimp stir fry ( Suktachi bhaji ), then she prepared fish curry in malvani style which is quick to prepare and tastes very delicious.
Meanwhile she also prepared soalkadhi which is must dish/drink with fish and fish thali.
After that she prepared fish fry which is frying the marinated white fish ( saundale ).
Meanwhile I returned from the farm, Pooja arranged the fish thali just like a restaurant would do and we enjoyed it.
