Both the Lexus NX350h and the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid are really topselling SUVs. There are lots of similarities and differences between the two. You can say the Lexus is a luxury relative to the Rav4 but both are the TNGAK platform for the midsize crossover segment.

Today, let's focus our attention on some key differences if you are shopping for one of these. One item that I didn't talk about is the price. The Toyota RAV4 hybrid definitely lower starting base price and that depends on what options are priced out on both vehicles. The comparable would be the RAV4 hybrid XSE or Limited model to the NX 350h model. Both hybrids are listed as AWD models.

A few other observations to note in the comparison:
Fuel Types:
The Lexus NX350h prefers premium fuel but can use regular and the Toyota Rav4 hybrid lists regular is fine. Price different is around $10K difference for the Lexus if prefer a more quiet interior, better driver centric layout driving position with the infotainment angled towards the driver. The Toyota Rav4 hybrid is more an ordinary layout where the infotainment is right in the center (nothing special or wrong with that layout).

Road Noise:
Road noise is more isolated but nowhere completely quiet in the Lexus NX350h but the Toyota Rav4 hybrid yields more road noise intrusion into the passenger cabin.

Tires:
The Lexus NX uses the Bridgestone Runflat tires (no spare) but can run without air for 50 or more miles to destination without air in most cases
The Toyota Rav4 Hybrid have conventional tires and a spare under the cargo area.

Sound Systems:
The NX350h base radio 10 speaker Pioneer appears weak esp for bass. If you want better sound system, you will need to step up to the Mark Levinson system (mostly in the Luxury package) which can bring the price to around $58K.
The Toyota Rav4 Hybrid JBL (in XSE and Limited) is really better than the base NX350h sound system and is listed with 11 speakers but not as good at the ML high end Lexus sounds system.
