I will be releasing a viewer inspired video (listed in this one within a few days) so keep an eye out for that one as well.

I have been wanting to fix this pan ever since I tried to return it only to find out that the ones in the store had the Exact Same Problem...

In this video I show you how I fix the minor problem of the pan rocking around on my glass cooktop, and the MAJOR problem of it being badly bellied and terrible to cook with.

This Lagostina pan retails for $90 and if had I read the reviews before buying it, I probably wouldn't have bought it, but I was taken by it's looks... can you blame me? These pans do come on sale often, I believe because there is a major design flaw (you'll see it) so keep an eye out in the flyers. I bought mine on sale, but it was still expensive, so I wanted to fix it and make it better.

I should also mention that the 12" model has this same problem, a coworker purchased one onsale, and I asked him to bring it to work so I could have a look. It had the same problem right off of the shelf and it was new never used. It is possible that this issue could get worse over time through the heatcool cycles, however I don't have another pan to test this theory on.

This video shows the steps to fixing the flatness problems on the bottom and top as well as testing of the corrected pan and some problems along the way that I need some of your help with. You don't need to spin the pan to fix this problem, but it does make the job a little easier and iI believe it more closely duplicates a process done on antique or vintage pans, they would have a much better setup than mine of course.

There is a lot going on in this video, so here are some timestamps to save you guys some time:

Apr 15th, 2020 I've been using this pan for a few weeks and it is working great, the color has just about fully returned to normal after the Bacon incident, so hopefully after some more use it will be perfect. This is not a great pan for flipping eggs without a spatula, the corners are too sharp and the eggs just stop there. Not a big problem since the pan is pretty heavy anyway.
