Anna over at the @FermentedHomestead invited us to participate in a new collaboration called #FermentedFebruary For our contribution we're going to make a fermented "cheese" made from cashews. Fermented cashew cheese has all the traditional dairy cheese flavors but it's made with wholesome plantbased ingredients. Plus, the live bacteria created in the fermentation process are good for your gut! The flavor after only (2) days is absolutely wonderful it has a very smooth texture and the vinegar and nutritional yeast make for an awesome combination. Some good ideas on things to add are:
– Sundried tomatoes + dried oregano
– Chopped dill + parsley
– Dried cranberries + crushed walnuts
– Pomegranate seeds + crushed pecans
