LEGO Power Functions, whether that be the motors, battery boxes, or whatever have been increasingly hard to find lately due to the fact that LEGO discontinued them in early 2020. Search for them on eBay, you will find that the genuine ones are being sold at scalper prices.

I came across a listing of knockoff motors that claimed their product was better than LEGO. I will be the judge of that. The results were... interesting to say the least.
